GREET OUR TROOPS

Every day about 100 soldiers, who are coming from Iraq and Afghanistan, arrive via one plane at DFW Airport.  These soldiers are coming home for two weeks of well deserved R&R.  But, for many of these soldiers, this is their first stop before they reach their final destination.  What does that mean?  Well, a good number of our soldiers will have no one to welcome them home, no one to thank them for the sacrifices that they make for us. 

The Fort Worth Post has decided to take the opportunity to greet, express our gratitude, and cheer on our troops.  We are heading to DFW Airport on Friday, March 12^th.

What you will need to know:

(1)   Planned arrival time is 8 am.

(2) HOWEVER, flight times are subject to vary greatly. 

(3)  Call 972-574-0392 after 8 pm on March 11^th for an automated update on March 12^th’s arrival time.

(4)  Call the above number once again after 6 am on March 12^th to check on the arrival.

(5)   Location is Terminal D, Gate 22 (lower level)
